This page explains exactly which cookies this website uses. The list is short because the site uses very little.

The only cookie on this site

As you browse, we store a cookie called smart-travel-locale, which holds only the language you are reading in — Portuguese or English. It lasts one year, cannot be read by scripts on the page and is sent only to our own server.

Its purpose is simple: without it, on every visit the site would try to guess your language from your browser settings and could override your choice.

Why there is no cookie banner

This cookie is strictly necessary to serve the page in the language you chose. Both Brazilian and UK law exempt cookies with that purpose from prior consent. As we use no others, there is nothing to ask permission for.

What this site does not use

• No analytics tool is installed.
• There are no advertising, remarketing or social media cookies.
• There are no tracking pixels, iframes or third-party scripts.
• We do not use browser local storage.
• The site's fonts are served from our own domain: your browser makes no request to third-party font servers.

Internal area

The admin area, used only by our team, stores session cookies to keep users signed in. They are not stored for visitors to the public site.

How to remove or block them

You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. If you block the language cookie the site will still work, but it will go back to choosing the language from your browser settings on every visit.

If we ever start using any other cookie, this page will be updated beforehand and, where the purpose requires it, we will ask for your consent.
